2008-09: Played in 19 of 40 games • tallied 23 points on eight goals and 15 assists • committed five penalties for 10 PIMs • missed 21 games after tearing his meniscus in his left knee at Minnesota State (12/12) • returned to the lineup against Miami in the NCAA Touranment and led DU with one goal and one assist • tallied three power-play goals, one shorthanded goal and one game-winning goal • ranked second on the team with a +14 plus/minus rating • recorded seven multi-point games • named to the College Hockey News Preseason All-America Team • named to the All-WCHA Academic Team.

Before Denver: Led the Victoria Grizzlies and the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) in scoring in 2006-07 with 128 points on 45 goals and a league-leading 83 assists in 59 games • captained the Grizzlies to a second-place finish in the Coastal Conference • recorded a team-leading 13 points on four goals and nine assists in 11 playoff games • led Victoria in scoring in 2005-06 with 69 points on 31 goals and 38 assists • two-time BCHL All-Star • earned Rookie of the Year honors for the Victoria Salsa in 2005-06.
