DENVER - Future University of Denver guard Brett Olson (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) scored 13 points, while leading his Blue team to a 97-84 victory over the White team at The Show, the 11th annual basketball all-star game at Pepsi Center on April 9.
Olson, the 2011 Colorado Gatorade Player of the Year in basketball, drilled a trio of three-pointers in the game, and fellow future Pioneer Marcus Byrd (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) added five points for the Blue team.
Olson and Byrd, who will both join the Pioneers this fall, led Highlands Ranch High School to its first-ever league championship and advanced to the Class 5A State Semifinals.
