"We played pretty well for our first exhibition game," DU head coach George Gwozdecky said. "We did some good things and we have some things we need to work on like our conditioning. I thought Adam and Juho both played well in net."
Zucker beat Hubert Morin (33 saves) from the right faceoff circle off a pass from junior Drew Shore (Denver, Colo.) to tie the score at 2-2. Senior Luke Salazar (Thornton, Colo.) also tallied an assist on the game-tying goal.
McGill tied the score at 1-1 with a goal from Francis Verreault-Paul at the buzzer of the second period. Earning assists were Marc-Andre Dorion and Maxime Langelier-Parent.
Benoit Levesque beat Olkinuora on a breakaway goal at 11:22 of the final stanza. Nicolas Biniek and Vincent Bourgeois earned assists on the goal.
Murray stopped 17 shots in first two periods of action, while Olkinuora added 10 saves in the third period and overtime.
