DENVER - University of Denver tennis players Alex Clinkenbeard (Loveland, Colo.) and Caroline Schnell (Greenwood Village, Colo.) turned in strong singles and doubles performances at the 2012 ITA Summer Tennis Circuit Event Saturday afternoon on the DU campus.

Clinkenbeard advanced to the quarterfinals in singles and doubles in men's action, while Schnell advanced to the semifinals in singles and doubles in women's play.

The top area collegiate men's and women's tennis players are competing on the DU campus on July 14-15.
