DENVER - University of Denver men's basketball head coach Joe Scott was a featured guest in the ROOT SPORTSTM television booth with Drew Goodman and George Frazier at Coors Field on Saturday, Sept. 22.

Scott, who has guided the Pioneers to a 61-13 record at Magness Arena,  visited the ROOT SPORTSTM television booth during the top of the third inning of the Colorado Rockies' game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Under Scott, the team posted a school-record 22 Division-I victories in 2011-12, including a 4-3 record against the Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) Top 100 and finished 14-2 at home in Magness Arena. Denver was one of only two teams in the country, along with the University of Missouri, to be in the top 20 in the nation in the following offensive categories in 2011-12: Field Goal Percentage-eighth at 48.8%; Effective Field Goal Percentage-third at 57.3%; Three-Point Field Goal Percentage-eighth at 39.8%; Free Throw Percentage-14th at 76.2%; and Assists- 16th at 15.6 per game.

The Pioneers return four starters from the 2011-12 season - senior Chase Hallam (7.5 ppg.), junior Chris Udofia (14.5 ppg.) and sophomores Royce O'Neill (9.9 ppg.) and Brett Olsen (7.6 ppg.).
