PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. - University of Denver seniors Sophia Bergner and Steffi Rath (Hochst, Austria) were defeated in qualifying doubles action today at the Riviera/ITA All-American.

Bergner and Rath were defeated 8-4 by Texas A&M's Wen Sun and Nazari Urbina in the round of 32. Bergner and Rath will compete in the qualifying doubles consolation bracket on Oct. 3.
