FLUSHING, N.Y., - University of Denver senior men's tennis player Enej Bonin (Koper, Slovenia) defeated Tulsa's Japle De Klerk 6-4, 6-4 to advance to the quarterfinals of the consolation bracket at the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships Friday at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y.

The victory brought Bonin's season singles record to 8-3.

Bonin will continue play at the USTA/ITA Championships when he takes on Vanderbilt's Ryan Lipman tomorrow beginning at 9 a.m. MT.
