The Pioneers will open action on Sunday when they will face LSU in doubles at 12:30 (ET) and Texas in singles play, beginning at 1:30 p.m. (ET).
On Monday, Denver is scheduled to square off against Texas in doubles (12:30 p.m., ET) and Michigan in singles (1:30 p.m., ET). Tuesday is the final day of competition and will see the Pioneers take on Michigan in doubles at 10:15 a.m. (ET) and LSU in singles at 11:15 a.m. (ET).
The event will crown an individual champion as no team scoring will be used. Each player will be assigned points per win according to his position in singles and doubles. The player with the most points at the end of the weekend will be named the overall winner.
Denver enters this week's action slotted No. 54 in the latest ITA National Team Rankings and boast four players ranked among the top-20 individuals in the Mountain Region, including No. 1 ranked regional player Enej Bonin (Koper, Slovenia). Joining Bonin in the singles regional list is No. 8 Jens Vorkefeld (Ostercappeln, Germany), No. 16 Alex Clinkenbeard (Loveland, Colo.) and No. 20 Fabio Biasion (Velbert, Germany).
The Pioneers also features the No. 5 ranked doubles squad in the Mountain Regional rankings that were released Jan. 3 in the tandem of Bonin and Vorkefeld.
