Denver - University of Denver's Enej Bonin (Koper, Slovenia) has been selected as the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week, conference officials announced today.

Bonin, a senior, is coming off of a 6-2, 6-4 singles victory over ITA's 35th-ranked Anis Ghorbel of Drake in No. 1 singles play.

The Pioneers fell to No. 7 Pepperdine and No. 45 Drake at the ITA National Indoor Kickoff this past weekend. The Pioneers look to rebound Saturday, Feb. 2 when they welcome Purdue. The match will take place at CAC Inverness at 1:00 p.m. (MT)
