Denver- The University of Denver Men's Tennis team moved up in the ITA rankings to No. 51, officials announced yesterday.  Virginia remains the No. 1 ranked team in the country, USC holds at No. 2 and UCLA is No. 3.

The Pioneers are returning from a 7-0 loss to No. 7 Pepperdine and a 6-1 loss to No. 43 Drake at the ITA National Indoor Kickoff that took place in Malibu, Calif. Pioneer senior and ITA nationally-ranked No. 43 Enej Bonin (Koper, Slovenia) is coming off of a 6-2, 6-4 victory over No.35 Anis Ghorbel of Drake.

The Pioneers look to bounce back Saturday, Feb. 2 when they welcome No. 68 Purdue to town. The match will take place at CAC Inverness at 1:00 p.m.
