Denver- The University of Denver men's tennis team is ranked No. 53 in the latest ITA polls, officials announced Tuesday. Virginia remains the No. 1 ranked team in the country, USC holds the No. 2 spot and UCLA is No. 3.
The Pioneers edged Utah 4-3 on Friday, but fell to BYU 5-1 on Saturday. Pioneer freshman Henry Craig finished an impressive weekend with two doubles and two singles victories, including the deciding match against Utah where he defeated Ben Tasevac 6-2, 6-7, 7-6.
The Pioneers return to the court to face Northwestern on Friday, Feb. 22. The match will take place at CAC Inverness at 4 p.m. (MT).
