DENVER – The University of Denver is ready to host the top men's and women's tennis teams in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) tournament, which starts Thursday, April 25 and continues until Sunday, April 28. 

The Pioneers’ men's tennis team is 9-11 overall with a 5-0 record in the WAC.  No. 1 seed Denver plays the winner of No. 4 seeded Utah State and No. 5 seeded New Mexico State on Saturday at 10 a.m. (MT).

The No. 52 ranked Pioneers’ women's tennis team is 16-3 overall and 8-0 in WAC play. No. 1 seed Denver plays No. 8 seeded New Mexico State on Thursday at 10 a.m. (MT).   

The winner of the WAC Championship will receive an automatic bid into the NCAA Regional Tournament.  Both men’s and women’s tournament finals will be held at the University of Illinois in Champagne from May 17-27.
