CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – University of Denver senior Enej Bonin (Koper, Slovenia) fought to a fifth tiebreaker in the first set before eventually falling to Duke’s No. 9 seeded Henrique Cunha 7-6 (5), 6-2 during the opening round of the 2013 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Singles Championship on Wednesday at the Atkins Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Illinois.

Bonin, who opened the match with a 4-1 lead in the opening set, closes out his senior season 23-8 overall in singles action, including a 13-2 mark in dual matches.
