DENVER – The University of Denver men’s basketball team’s first season in the Summit League will open with a game at South Dakota on Jan. 11 before the Pioneers return home to face Fort Wayne (Jan. 16) and IUPUI (Jan. 18), the conference announced today.
The schedule is set up in a round-robin format, meaning all eight Summit League teams will play each other at home and on the road.
DU’s remaining conference home slate features 2013 NCAA Tournament participant South Dakota State (Jan. 30), North Dakota State (Feb. 1), South Dakota (Feb. 8), Western Illinois (Feb. 20) and Omaha (Feb. 22).
The road schedule sends the Pioneers to Omaha (Jan. 23), Western Illinois (Jan. 25), IUPUI (Feb. 13), Fort Wayne (Feb. 15), South Dakota State (Feb. 27) and North Dakota State (March 1).
Denver’s nonconference schedule and times for all games will be announced at a later date.

Individual game tickets will go on sale in October with prices starting at $9 for adults. DU students get into the game free with their Pioneer Card.
