DENVER – The University of Denver men’s soccer game against the Regis University Rangers at Englewood High School has been postponed to Sunday, April 19 at 6 p.m. The game is being played off campus due to the construction of the new Denver Soccer Stadium.
The spring season matchup had originally been scheduled for Friday, April 17 at 7 p.m., but was postponed due to inclement weather expected to hit the Denver area on Friday.
“While I am disappointed to have to wait on mother nature for two more days to get this event in, we are anticipating a great day for college soccer in Colorado on Sunday,” DU head coach Bobby Muuss said. “Our hope is to accommodate the fans with the 6 p.m. kick-off Sunday evening. With youth state cup and other soccer events being held here in Denver that day, hopefully it will give others an opportunity to be part of it as well.”
There will be a silent auction that begins when the gates open at 5:10 p.m. All pre-purchased tickets will be valid on Sunday, and tickets will also be available at the gates on game-night for $8. There will be no ticket refunds.
