2011-12: Selected to SBC Commissioner's List for earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher. 

2010-11: Posted a team-leading 20-10 overall singles record and a 13-9 doubles mark • named to the All-Sun Belt Conference Singles Team for the second consecutive year after recording a 12-6 mark during the dual season, including a 11-5 record at No. 1 • tallied a 9-6 doubles mark during the dual season, including a 7-2 mark at No. 2 with partner Yannick Weihs • became first DU player to win the singles title at the ITA Mountain Regional Men's Tennis Championships (10/26/10) • advanced to the round of 16 at the ITA National Indoor Singles Championship • became the second DU men's tennis player to advance to the NCAA Singles Championships •  had a career-high ranking of No. 25 and defeated two ranked opponents (No. 35 Jason Jung of Michigan and No. 110 Christopher Aumueller of Nebraska) • had a six-match singles winning streak from Feb. 20-March 19 • named DU's Most Valuable Player • earned SBC Player of the Week honors (3/8/11)• earned a spot on the Sun Belt Commissioner's List by earning a 3.5 grade point average or better.

2009-10: Posted a 22-3 overall singles record and 12-10 doubles mark • named to the All-Sun Belt Conference Singles Team after recording a 20-3 mark during the dual season, including a dominating 16-1 record at No. 3 • tallied a 11-9 doubles mark during the dual season, including a 7-6 mark at No. 3 with partner Fabio Biasion • earned DU's lone point with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Mike Srocznski at No. 3 singles in 4-1 loss to No. 26 Michigan in the first round of the NCAA Tournament • named Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week on March 24 • earned ITA Mountain Region Rookie of the Year honors and was DU's Freshman of the Year • posted a 12-match winning streak from Feb. 14-April 8.

Before Denver: Has a career high ITF World Ranking of #122 • made it to the Slovenian National Championship in 2009.

Personal: Born April 17, 1990 in Koper, Slovenia • son of Vili and Katja Bonin• twin brother of Rok • chose Denver because it felt like the right school and because it fit well with his personality • hopes to graduate and reach the highest rank that DU has ever had while on the tennis team • Finance major.
