Career: Saw action in 45 games over his four-year career • finished with 37 groundballs and caused a total of 27 turnovers • tied for third all-time in DU's Division I career record books in caused turnovers• member of the first class to host a first round game of the NCAA Tournament west of the Mississippi river • member of the first class to make a Final Four appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

2011: Named to the All-ECAC First Team • named a USILA Scholar All-American • played and started in 17 games for the Pioneers • picked up 24 groundballs and caused 19 turnovers • recorded a career-high five caused turnovers against Notre Dame (03/12/11) and recorded personal-best four ground balls twice, last against Ohio State (05/05/11).

2010: Played in 11 games, starting in seven • recorded seven ground balls and caused six turnovers • grabbed a career-high three ground balls against Bellarmine (04/09/10) and caused a career-high two turnovers against Air Force (03/27/10).

2009: Played in five games and started once • recorded one goal on one shot • scooped up two ground balls.

2008: Appeared in 12 games • recorded four groundballs and two caused turnovers.

Before Denver: A two-time all-league defenseman for Cohasset (Mass.) High School • led Cohasset to two state championships • also played safety for Cohasset's football team and forward for its basketball team.

Personal: Born December 31, 1988, in Boston • son of John and Emily Brown • has four siblings, Sarah, Katherine, Mark and Rebecca • chose Denver over Brown and Wesleyan because of its great location, rising lacrosse program, and the style of defense the lacrosse team plays • enjoys boating and swimming • finance major.
