Career: Played in 62 games, starting in 61 • scored 10 goals and recorded four assists for 14 points • grabbed 195 ground balls and caused 82 turnovers • finished with a 71.0 shot-on-goal percentage • scored four game-winning goals and one man-down goal • won 94-of-189 face-offs for a 49.7 win-loss percentage.

2010:  Started all 17 games • scored three goals and recorded one assist for four points • led the team with 82 ground balls and caused a team-best 31 turnovers • won 63-of-116 face-offs for a 54.3 face-off percentage • finished with a 60.0 shot-on-goal percentage • scored two game-winning goals • led the team in ground balls nine times and caused turnovers 11 times  • finished with a career-high two points against Quinnipiac (04/11/10) off one goal and one assist  • recorded a career-high 12 ground balls against Hobart (04/03/10) • finished the season ranked fourth in the ECAC in ground balls per game (5.00) and fifth in face-off percentage (.545) • finished 20th in the nation in ground balls per game (4.82) and 15th in caused turnovers (1.82) • named to the Face-Off Classic All-Tournament Team • was named to the Tewaaraton Watch List • named a preseason All-American Third Team selection by Inside Lacrosse • named ECAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year and to the All-ECAC Preseason Team • named ECAC Defensive Player of the Year at the end of the regular season • named All-ECAC First Team • named a USILA Scholar All-American • earned USILA All-America Honorable Mention honors.

2008: Played in all 17 games with 16 starts • scored four goals • placed 6-of-8 shots on goal • had 44 groundballs, including a game-high seven in back-to-back games against Quinnipiac (4/11/08) and Bellarmine (4/13/08) • tallied the game-winner against Air Force (4/26/08) • led Denver with 20 caused turnovers • named First Team All-GWLL • named to the Pioneer Face-Off Classic All-Tournament Team.

2007: Started in all 13 games • had one goal, the game-winner in double overtime over Villanova (3/3/07) • scooped up 22 ground balls • had eight caused turnovers • was 7-of-22 on face-offs • named to Pioneer Classic all-tournament team.

Before Denver: Named an All-American as a senior at Denver East H.S. • had over 70 ground balls • participated in the Under Armour All-America game and the U.S. Lacrosse Senior Showcase • was named the Colorado lacrosse MVP • named first team all-state as a sophomore and All-America nominee • played hockey for DU's youth team that won state titles in 2003 and 2004.

Personal: Born Oct. 27, 1987 • son of Steve Roy and Debbie Donner • has three siblings: Brittany Ray, Matt Nelson and Kerri Nelson • choose DU because he fits into the defensive system and the coaches and also because he enjoys being close to home • hotel, restaurant and tourism management major • enjoys skiing and reading and is an avid cyclist.
