DENVER – Three University of Denver men’s lacrosse players were dismissed from the team, head coach Jamie Munro announced today.

Senior Brad Richardson (Langley, B.C.), junior Ilija Gajic (Burnaby, British Columbia) and sophomore Jamie Lincoln (St. Catharine, Ontario) have been dismissed from the Pioneer roster after violations of team policies.

“After several discussions with my coaching staff, we decided that it would be in the best interest of the team to dismiss Brad, Ilija and Jamie from the team due to violations of team policies,” Munro said. “They will have the option to remain as students for the remainder of the quarter under their scholarship. We will also assist them in their future endeavors.”

Denver returns to action this weekend as it travels to Hamden, Conn., for an 11 a.m. (MT) game against Quinnipiac, its second GWLL opponent of the season.
