Josie White is in her tenth year as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Denver. Her primary sport responsibility is with the men’s lacrosse team who won the NCAA Division I Championship in 2015. White is also in charge of all insurance coordination for athletic injuries.

In 2014, White was an athletic trainer with the Canadian National Lacrosse Team which competed in the Federation of International Lacrosse World Championships, winning the Gold Medal. She became certified in reflexive performance reset in 2016 and dynamic taping in 2017. She is also skilled in soft tissue work, muscle energy, and Graston Technique.

Prior to coming to the University of Denver, White spent two years at the University of Iowa where she worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer with women’s soccer and men’s and women’s tennis. She received her master’s degree in Psychology of Sport and Physical Activity in 2013.

Prior to her graduate work, White worked as an Intern Athletic Trainer at Colgate University. There she was responsible for covering the men’s basketball, men’s soccer, and women’s lacrosse teams.

In 2004, White graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. She is also a certified member of the National Association of Athletic Trainers.
