DENVER –University of Denver Sports Performance, led by the instruction of assistant coach Matt Van Dyke, will host a Level I Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR) clinic at the Daniel L Ritchie Center Sunday, December 10, from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. MT.

The RPR Level I clinic is a full day of learning what RPR is, how to do it and how to implement it with athletes and clients, a game-changer for strength coaches dealing with athletes’ performance and injury prevention.

Van Dyke will also talk about how to integrate RPR into a team or group setting, and will set a knowledge base of RPR to move on to Level II of the course.

“Reflexive Performance Reset has demonstrated a tremendous value to all members of our Pioneers Performance staff here at the University of Denver,” Van Dyke said. “We are excited that DU can serve as the primary location for RPR teaching and education out west this weekend.”

Last weekend, current Sports Performance assistant coach Gary Boros and former intern Chris Jarmon presented at the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) state clinic in Denver. Boros and Jarmon talked on Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFRT), which allows practitioners to target high threshold motor units without high neural stress and induce hypertrophy without high intensity loading. BFRT also improves the hormone profile to help maximize results. Boros will be giving a presentation on the same topic this coming weekend at the Robert Morris Speed and Strength Seminar in Pittsburgh.
