DU TO HOST RMISA CHAMPIONSHIPS
Pios Ski Teams Set to Ski at Beaver Creek Starting Friday

BEAVER CREEK & Minturn, Colo. – The University of Denver Alpine and Nordic ski teams will host the RMISA Championships/NCAA West Regionals starting Friday morning.
The Nordic races will be held at Maloit Park in Minturn, Colo. while the Alpine races will take place just a few miles away at Centennial in Beaver Creek, Colo.
The West Regional Championships will begin Friday with the Giant Slalom event beginning at 9 a.m. with the first runs.
The Alpine races will conclude on Saturday with the Slalom event which will take place starting at 9:30 a.m.
The Nordic races will begin on Feb. 25 with the Classical race which will have an interval start beginning at 10 a.m. with the Women’s 5K followed by the Men’s 10K at 11 a.m.
Sunday, Feb. 26 will feature the Freestyle race with the Men’s 20K mass start at 9:30 a.m. The women’s 15K will begin at 11 a.m. also in the mass start format.
