Skiing Blog: Nordic Training Run


Since the last training camp, the nordies have put in some quality distance, interval, and strength workouts. All despite the fall sickness that has taken out a good part of the team for at least a few days during the last couple weeks. Nonetheless it is obvious after the first month that people worked hard this summer and are ready for the season. The Lookout Mountain time trial, always a good test to point out those who are struggling, showed that everyone is in good shape and in a good position to improve over the next few important months of training before the season. The cold temperatures for our distance run this weekend (pictured) was a good reminder that the season is just around the corner and the team is getting fired up. Next up is the second interval block which includes the Green Mountain running time trial, another test of fitness that separates the men from the boys... By Mikey Hinckley
