Moden and Loncar Take Summit League Swimmer of the Week Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. (DU/Summit League) – Junior Lauren Moden (Parker, Colo.) and senior Anton Loncar (Hillsboro, Ore.) have been named Summit League Women’s and Men’s Swimmers of the Week, respectively, the league office announced on Tuesday.

  • Named Summit League Swimmer of the Week for the first time in her career
  • Won the 50 free (23.62) in dual meet against No. 12 Minnesota
  • Touched third in the 100 back (58.11)
  • Helped both her 200 medley relay (1:42.74) and 400 free relay (3:29.40) take home second place

UP NEXT: Denver returns home this week for its final two home meets of the season January 19-20 at El Pomar Natatorium. Denver will host Colorado Mesa on Friday at 4 p.m., before welcoming Utah on Saturday at 12 p.m. The Pioneers’ will honor their senior class before the meet against Utah on Saturday.
