The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs have placed seven student-athletes on the 2018 Summit League Academic Swimming and Diving All-League Teams, the league office announced on Thursday.

On the men's side, seniors Anton Loncar (Hillsboro, Ore.) and Alex Walton (Boulder, Colo.), and sophomore Peter Webster (Odense, Denmark) earned the academic honor. Loncar's spot on the Academic All-League team was the third of his career.

Denver's women put four student-athletes on the Academic All-League squad. Two-time All-American Bailey Andison (Smiths Falls, Ontario), senior Maddie Myers (Arvada, Colo.), junior Annelyse Tullier (Dallas, Texas) and sophomore Josie Valette (Boulder, Colo.) were all honored Thursday. Myers' recognition was the second of her career.

To be eligible for The Summit League Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions.  The men's and women's swimming and diving all-league teams are made up of the 10 student-athletes receiving the most votes with all ties standing.
