Loncar Finishes 29th in the 100 Back at the 2017 FINA World Championships

BUDAPEST, Hungary Senior Anton Loncar (Hillsboro, Ore.) finished 29th out of 47 swimmers in the 100 back on Monday at the 2017 FINA World Championships with a 55.88. 

The Croatian international finished 1.37 seconds off the qualifying pace for the 100 back final. Loncar will be back in action July 27 in the 200 back and July 29 in the 50 back. Incoming freshman Adriel Sanes (Rosharon, Texas) will be representing the US Virgin Islands in the 200 IM (July 26) and 200 breaststroke (July 27) later this week.
