Denver Men Top Initial College Dual Mid-Major Rankings
The Pioneers are off to a 2-0 start in 2017-18

DENVER – The University of Denver men’s swimming and diving program is atop the CollegeSwimming.com Men’s College Dual Mid-Major Rankings, the website announced on Wednesday.
Denver is off to a 2-0 start in its dual season with wins over Mid-Major No. 4 Air Force and No. 24 Wyoming. On the women’s side, two-time defending Mid-Major Champion Denver is sixth in the Mid-Major rankings after a 2-1 start to the 2017-18 season.
In the overall CollegeSwimming.com national rankings, Denver’s men sit in 26th, while the Denver women are in 41st.
In the coaches’ poll released on Wednesday, Denver’s men are receiving the 27th most votes in the country heading into this weekend’s Pacific Invite.
UP NEXT: The two programs will split up this weekend, as the Denver men head to the Pacific Invite in Stockton, Calif., while the women head south east for the Dual-A-Palooza in New Orleans, La.
