LAST TIME OUT: Denver Defeats Air Force in Friday Dual – Full Recap

DENVER – The [RV/25] University of Denver men’s swimming and diving team improved to 2-0 in its dual season, defeating Air Force 165-135 on Friday night at El Pomar Natatorium. 

Redshirt-freshman Stephen Calkins (Calgary, Alberta) and sophomore Sid Farber (Portland, Ore.) were victorious in four events on Friday, each earning two individual event wins, while both racing on the winning relays in the 200 medley and 400 free. 

Sophomore Colin Gilbert (Kamloops, B.C.) swept the two freestyle distance races (1000/500) and junior Kyle Ewoldt (Gilbert, Ariz.) won the 200 butterfly and the 200 IM. 

UP NEXT: The two programs will take over a month off before both head to the Tennessee Invite from November 30-December 2. Denver will then take its annual training trip to Florida before the FAU Quad on December 20.
