2015-16 
Appeared and started in all 31 games... Averaged 10.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game... Earned the Vince Boryla '49 Pioneer Award. Scored a career-high 28 points at IPFW (Feb. 13)... Knocked down a career-best eight 3-pointers at IPFW (Feb. 13), which was tied for third best in school history... Dished out a career-high eight assists against Lipscomb (Nov. 15)... Scored in double-figures 20 times... Blocked a career-best three shots on two occassions, first against South Dakota (Jan. 28) and again at Omaha (Feb. 6)... Had a career-high three steals at South Dakota (Feb. 21)... Played in his 100th career game at San Diego (Dec. 9)... Finished tied for fourth all-time in games played (122) at DU... Knocked down 163 career 3-pointer which is good for ninth all-time at Denver... Shot 47.7 percent from the field and 41.9 percent from behind the arc... Born April 3, 1993 in Englewood, Colo.... Son of Dick and Brooke Byrd... Has one brother, Mason... Chose DU because it’s close to home, and it has a wonderful campus and a great basketball program... Career goals include expanding his knowledge and becoming a better basketball player in the process... Says that basketball is his life... Enjoys teaching special needs children the fundamentals of basketball... Majoring in economics with minors in business administration and real estate.
