Men’s Basketball Volunteers at Crimson Classic

Sept. 21, 2017

DENVER – The University of Denver men’s basketball team lended a helping hand on Wednesday, handing out water to runners in the annual Crimson Classic. The Pioneers were at two water stations located on the course.

The event, which is a 5K run, promotes well-being at the university that brings together students, faculty and staff.

Head coach Rodney Billups and his staff was on hand for the campus-wide event, distributing water to thirsty runners as they passed their station near the starting line.

Several players also manned another station near the loading dock of the Ritchie Center and passed out water there as well.
