Denver Wraps Up Day One of Arizona Intercollegiate
Play suspended in second round due to darkness

TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Denver men's golf team opened its spring season on Monday, finishing up the first round of the Arizona Intercollegiate. Play was suspended in the second round due to darkness.
Par for the 7,292-yard course was 71.
The Pioneers shot a 328 for the first 18 holes.
Solem was the lone DU golfer to shoot under 80 in the opening round, firing a 5-over 76.
Korte fired an 82 on his first run through of the course.
Kelley wrapped up his first round firing an 84.
Hagen posted an 86 on Monday’s opening round.
Sand put up an 88.
Round two set to resume on Tuesday morning at 8 a.m.
