DU Set to Compete in Southwestern Invitational
Day one set for Monday with 36 holes of play
Feb. 25, 2018
DENVER -- The University of Denver men's golf team continues its spring season with a trip out to the west coast for the Southwestern Invitational hosted by Pepperdine. The two-day tournament starts on Monday with rounds one and two being played at the North Ranch Country Club.
Par for the 6,994-yard course is 72.
The Pioneers are coming off a solid 10th-place finish at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate back on Feb. 18. DU was able to pick up a key head-to-head win over then-No. 26 Tennessee at the event.
Korte led the Crimson and Gold at that tournament with his consistent play.
The field features 15 teams in it featuring strong squads such as UCLA, Pepperdine and San Diego State.

Student-Athlete Alumni Giving Challenge:

The sport program with the highest percentage of alumni participation will receive an additional $10,000 of support through the generosity of an anonymous donor. Former student-athletes can make a gift online, by calling 303-871-2388 during normal business hours or by sending a check to:
