The Pioneers fall to North Dakota in the 2016 Frozen Four semifinals, on April 7th.

Set career high in assists (8), points (11) and games played (36)... Named to 2015-16 NCHC Academic All-Conference Team on Feb. 17.

Tallied 4G-3A-7P and a +3 rating in 31 games played as a sophomore… Denver went 4-1-1 in games in which he recorded a point… Matched career-high with two points (1G-1A) incl. GWG on Nov. 7 vs. Western Michigan; also set career-high with +3 rating on the night… Fired a season-high four shots on goal on Dec. 6 at Cornell… One of Denver’s 18 Academic All-Conference honorees.

In freshman season at DU, registered 10 points on seven goals and three assists in addition to 25 penalty minutes… Finished T-2nd on the Pios in game-winning goals with three... Registered first career NCAA goal/point on Nov. 22 at Air Force… Received NCHC Academic All-Conference recognition for having a cumulative GPA above 3.0… Missed the first seven games of the season due to an NCAA-imposed suspension for playing with a professional in a European junior league.

Before Denver:
Spent 2012-13 season with Corpus Christi (NAHL), tallying 17G-37A-54P-66PIM in 54 games played… Added 2G-3A-5P in four playoff contests… Registered 10G-8A-18P-41PIM and a +7 plus/minus rating in 57 appearances with Indiana (USHL) in 2011-12… Represented Austria at both the 2011 (D1 – Bronze Medal) and 2012 (D1A) IIHF World Junior Championships, totaling 1G-0A-1P-12PIM in 10 games played… Also skated with Team Austria at the 2009 (D1 – Bronze Medal) and 2010 (D1) IIHF World U-18 Championships, recording 1G-1A-2P-20PIM in 10 total appearances… Won a Czech Junior League championship with HC Zlin in 2010.

Son of Josef and Sibylle... Chose Denver because of the storied hockey tradition, academic reputation and beautiful campus/scenery... Career goal is play professional hockey and build own business...
