2014-15: Matched career-high with 16 assists while appearing in all 40 games for Denver… Also scored three goals to finish junior campaign with 19 points… Led the Pioneers in FOW% (57.3, 2nd in NCHC) by winning 304 of his 531 draws… Registered three multi-point games (11/7/14 vs. WMU, 12/12/14 vs. UND, 2/21/15 vs. CC), dishing out a pair of assists in all three games (all wins for DU)… Denver was also 3-0-0 in games in which he scored a goal… Named to All-California Team by California Rubber Magazine… One of Denver’s NCHC-high 17 Academic All-Conference honorees… Winner of the Dr. Ken Bredesen Award as the Pioneers’ Most Sportsmanlike Player… Committed just one penalty for two PIM for the second straight season... 2013-14: Received NCHC Academic All-Conference recognition for having a cumulative GPA above 3.0... Also named to NCHC Scholar-Athlete Team… Played in all 42 games for the Pioneers, recording a career-high 21 points (5G-16A)… Scored the team’s only shorthanded goal of the season... 2012-13: Appeared in 37 games during freshman campaign, registering 2G-7A-9P-6PIM… Scored his first career NCAA goal against Colorado College on Nov. 17, also dishing out an assist to register his first career multi-point game… Tallied a point in six of eight games from 11/3-11/30.
Before Denver: Played for the Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League from 2010-12, totaling 34G-114A-148P in 111 career games… Finished second in the NAHL in scoring with a team-high 90 points (18G-72A) in 56 appearances in 2011-12; also recorded five power play goals, three game-winning goals and a +36 plus/minus rating… Helped Fairbanks to the West Division championship and was named to the All-NAHL Team… Named to NAHL All-Rookie Second Team for 2010-11 after tallying 16G-42A-58P in 55 games played during first season with the Ice Dogs.
Personal: The son of Ben Levin and Jo Anna Stuart and stepson of Doug Stuart… Graduated from Palisades Charter High School (Los Angeles, Calif.) in 2010… During his NAHL career, volunteered at various Fairbanks schools by reading to students and participating in anti-drug programs… Chose to attend DU because it was a ‘dream come true’ to play for the Pioneers… Enjoys going to the beach, volleyball and surfing… Favorite athlete is Pavel Datsyuk.
