Pioneers Remain No. 1 on National Polls

The DU Pioneers remained at No. 1 on the latest editions of the and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine NCAA Div. I Hockey polls, both of which were announced earlier today. Denver (28-6-4) has won 13 games in a row which is tied for the fourth-longest single-season streak in program history.

This past weekend, DU swept CC in Round 1 of the NCHC Playoffs to earn a berth in the 2017 Frozen Faceoff. The Pioneers will face UND in Conf. Semifinal action on Friday, March 17 at 6:30pm MT (CBS Sports Net/ESPN Denver 1600 AM) at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minn. with the winner advancing to the NCHC Championship Game on Saturday (also at 6:30pm MT, same TV/Radio stations).
