National Champion Pioneers Ranked No. 1 on Final National Polls

The NCAA Champion DU Pioneers were ranked No. 1 on the final and USA Today/USA Hockey Magazine NCAA Div. I Hockey polls of the 2016-17 season, both of which were announced earlier today. Denver won the eighth national title in program history on Saturday, defeating Minnesota-Duluth by a score of 3-2 at Chicago’s United Center in the final game of the 2017 Frozen Four.


A special rally honoring Denver Hockey’s championship season will be held inside the Daniel L. Ritchie Center on Tuesday, April 11 at 6:00pm (Doors Open – 5:30pm). More information on this event can be obtained by clicking HERE.


The location of the Pioneers’ 61st Annual Awards Evening (Friday, April 14 at 6:00pm) has been changed from the Cable Center to Magness Arena in order to accommodate more attendees. More information on this event, including a registration link, can be obtained by clicking HERE.
