TOY DRIVE
• The Denver Pioneers will accept new, unwrapped toys to be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Denver as a part of CBS4's Together 4 Colorado initiative. The community drop off will be held on Saturday, Dec. 9 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. on the north side of the Ritchie Center

Tanner Jaillet recorded a 28-save shutout on Friday and made 27 saves on 28 shots on Saturday

• Denver went 0/5 on the power play and 5/5 on the penalty kill

• The Pioneers will return to non-conference play with a home series against Dartmouth College on Dec. 15-16 at Magness Arena

COLORADO COLLEGE SNAPSHOT

• Despite losing three (3) of their last four (4) games, the Tigers are three (3) wins away from reaching their highest single-season win total since the team finished 18-19-5 in the 2012-2013 season

• Colorado College enters this weekend following two (2) consecutive bye weeks

• The Tigers' power play has converted in four (4) of its last (5) games, going 5/26 (19.3%). The power play was responsible for both of the team's goals in the series against St. Cloud State on Nov. 17-18

• Sophomore Nick Halloran leads the Tigers in scoring with 19 points (5-14-19) in 14 games. Sophomore Alex Leclerc has earned every start in net, posting a .909 SV%, 2.88 GAA and one (1) shutout through 14 games

COLORADO COLLEGE LAST SERIES

• Colorado College played its last series on Nov. 17-18 at St. Cloud State, losing 6-1 on Friday and 5-1 on Saturday

• The Tigers combined to allow six (6) third-period goals on Friday and Saturday, including an empty-netter on Saturday

• Denver took the No. 1 spot in the USCHO.com poll, receiving 39 of 50 first-place votes. Denver has occupied the top spot in the USCHO.com poll for nine (9) of ten weeks

BATTLE FOR THE GOLD PAN

• Since 1993, the winner of the Denver-Colorado College series has been awarded the traveling trophy known as the Gold Pan. Each team has won it 12 times

• Denver has won the Gold Pan for three (3) consecutive years. Colorado College holds the record for consecutive victories with four (4) from 1999-2002

JAILLET EARNS WEEKLY HONORS

Tanner Jaillet was named NCAA Second Star of the Week and Bauer NCHC Goaltender of the Week for the week of Nov. 19

• Jaillet finished the weekend 2-0-0 with a 0.50 GAA, .982 SV% and one (1) shutout against Minnesota Duluth

BORGSTROM NAMED NCHC PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Henrik Borgström was named NCHC Player of the Month for November

• Borgström logged 14 points (8-6-14) through six (6) games in November

HOME STAND

• The Pioneers begin a stretch of five (5) of their next (6) games on home ice

• Denver is 4-1-1 at Magness Arena this season. The team finished 16-3-2 on home ice last season

TOUGH SCHEDULE

• Denver has played five (5) ranked opponents through their first eight (8) matchups of the season: No. 4 Notre Dame, No. 6 Boston University, No. 1 St. Cloud State, No. 3 North Dakota and No. 15 Minnesota Duluth

• According to the KRACH ratings, the Pioneers have the highest strength of schedule in the NCAA

SUPER POWER PLAY

• Denver's power play ranks 3rd in the NCAA (28.1%) and has scored a power-play goal in 10 of 14 games this season

• The Pioneers were held 0/5 on the man advantage last weekend after previously scoring a power-play goal in each of their last five (5) games, converting at 39.3% (11-for-28)

ORGEL ADDED TO ROSTER

• Freshman defenseman Ryan Orgel was added from the Lone Star Brahmas (NAHL) on Nov. 30

• The Los Angeles, Calif. native registered 38 points (15-23-38) and 95 penalty minutes through 67 games in the NAHL
