Dylan Sheridan joined the Pioneer men's lacrosse program as the volunteer assistant for the 2011 season. In 2012, Bill Tierney elevated Sheridan to second assistant.

In 2014, Sheridan took over the role of Defensive Coordinator and guided the unit to a top ten ranking nationally and a number one ranking in the Big East. The 2014 team went unbeaten in conference play en route to the program's third Final Four appearance in four years.

Along the way, three members of the defense: Christian Burgdorf, Jamie Faus & Ryan LaPlante earned First Team All Big East accolades; while LaPlante picked up Goalie of the Year honors. In addition, defensive midfielder Terry Ellis and goalie, Faus were selected in the 2014 MLL Draft upon graduation.

In his four seasons with the Pioneers, Sheridan has also been responsible for working with the face-off corps. At the end of the 2012 season, Denver's face-off group was ranked No. 5 in the nation with a .591 winning percentage.

Sheridan's impact on the Pioneers' face-off unit resulted in Chase Carraro being named 2012 Eastern College Athletic Conference Specialist of the Year, six Specialist of the Week honors and a USILA Second Team All-American selection. Sheridan helped Carraro finish the 2012 season ranked No. 8 in the nation with a .604 face-off winning percentage.

Sheridan is currently a member of the Denver Outlaws, signing as a free agent in 2012.

Sheridan also has a wealth of experience coaching international lacrosse, having served as a director for the USA Starz program. This summer Coach Sheridan will serve as Head Coach of the Thai National team as they make the first appearance in the lacrosse World Championships here in Denver, CO.

Sheridan arrived from Lebanon Valley College (DIII), where he assisted John Haus in resurrecting the Flying Dutchmen men's lacrosse program.

Prior to his time at LVC, Sheridan served as an assistant at Pfeiffer University (DII).

In past years, he has served as Tournament Director for the Adrenaline Shootout (Elite) and the Adrenaline High Rollers. His work with the Denver Elite program has also led to him to be promoted to Director of College Placement.

A 2006 graduate of Claremont McKenna College, Sheridan was a four-year member of the Stags football team. On the lacrosse field, he was a three-time captain, 3x MCLA All-America, and 3x All-WCLL selection. In 2006, Sheridan was named the West Coast Lacrosse League Player of the Year, and chosen to the MCLA All-Tournament Team.

Sheridan was four-year letter winner and captain at Western Reserve Academy for Hall of Fame coach Skip Flanagan. During that period, WRA competed in three consecutive Ohio State Championship games, winning the title in 2001.
