2015: Played in 18 games, picking up 36 ground balls and forcing six caused turnovers...Inked a season-high five ground balls in Denver's BIG EAST opening 19-7 win over Georgetown (3/28), and in DU's NCAA Semifinal 11-10 overtime victory over Notre Dame (5/23). 2014: Played in all 19 games for the Pioneers...Grabbed a season-high two ground balls twice, most recently against Marquette (4/26)...Caused a career-high three turnovers at Georgetown (3/29) and against Rutgers (5/1) in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Tournament...Tallied his first point of the season vs. Villanova in the BIG EAST Championship game (5/3) with his first assist of the season.

PERSONAL: Born September 3, 1992 in Waukegan, Ill...Son of Brock and Julie...Has one brother, Trey Williams and one sister, Becca Williams...Chose the University of Denver because he loves the outdoors, wanted a smaller school, thought the people in Denver and at the school were friendly, wanted to challenge himself academically, and thought that the staff at DU was very friendly and helpful...Enjoys backpacking, canoeing, kayaking and hanging out with his friends.
