Pioneers earn postseason academic awards for 2016-17 season

CAREER:
Made 55 appearances, starting 12 games, including 10 games in his senior campaign…Picked up 46 ground balls and caused 16 turnovers, while committing just three penalties.

2017:
Played in 17 games at Denver’s close defense, starting the final 10 games for John Orsen’s defense…Picked up 14 ground balls and forced nine caused turnovers…Picked up a career high four ground balls in Denver’s 17-10 NCAA Tournament win over Air Force…Forced multiple caused turnovers in Denver’s wins over Towson (3/25), Providence (4/22) and Air Force (5/13).

2016:
Did not play due to a knee injury in the preseason.

2015:
Played in all 19 games, starting both games in the Frontier Airlines Faceoff Classic...Picked up 11 ground balls, and forced one caused turnover in Denver's 16-6 win over Air Force (2/21).

2014:
Saw action in 19 games for the Pioneers...Took one shot at Air Force (2/8)...Grabbed a career-high three ground balls at Georgetown (3/29)...Caused one turnover six times, most recently against Duke (5/24)...Finished with 21 ground balls and six caused turnovers on the season.

BEFORE DENVER:
