Top Drawer Soccer Second Team All-America selection (2016)...NSCAA Division I Men’s National Player of the Week (9/20/16)… 2016 Summit League First Team…Summit League Defensive Player of the Week… First Team All-Summit League (2015)...Named to Second Team All Summit League (2014)...Named to Summit League All-Newcomer Team (2014).

2016:
Played and started in 23 matches, seeing action in 2,124 minutes…Scored his first five career goals for the Crimson and Gold, and assisted two others…Scored game-winners against Saint Louis (9/15) and at Clemson (12/2) in the NCAA Quarterfinal. Led a Denver back line that finished third in the country in goals against average (0.52) and third in shutout percentage (0.58), did not allow a shot against Saint Louis (9/15) and did not allow a shot on goal in five matches.

2015:
Started all 19 matches… Tied for team high with 1,795 minutes… Tallied an assist in Denver's 4-0 win over Bakersfield (8/29)...Played center back in a Denver back four that allowed a 0.40 goals against-average, kept a 0.63 shutout percentage (12 clean sheets), and allowed just 2.5 shots on goal per game.

2014:
Impressed in freshman campaign, starting all 20 matches and totaling1,836 minutes...Played entire game in 17 of his 20 appearances.

Before Denver:
Plays club soccer for Colorado Rapids Academy...All-Conference selection...Played at Greeley H.S...earning Colorado All-State honors.

Personal:
Born January 26, 1996 in Olathe, Kan...Son of Laurie Ford...Intends to study business statistics...Chose Denver because he believes in both the soccer program and the academics here...Hopes to one day get a degree in business statistics and play professional soccer...Also recruited by Duke, Princeton, Stanford, and Santa Clara.
