Four Pioneers Advance to Round of 32 at Mountain Regional

Tennis team advances four through day one of 2014 USTA/ITA Regional Event


  • Amassed 12-9 record in singles play and 12-6 record in doubles play
  • Attained a Top 20 Doubles ranking (Oracle/ITA) with partner Yannik James on Jan. 6
  • Named to All-Summit League Team on Apr. 27
  • Earned third career Summit League Player of the Week Award on Feb. 29

  •  Overall doubles record of 9-11, paired mainly with teammate Henry Craig
  • 2016 NCAA Tournament appearance with doubles partner Henry Craig

Career Highlights:

  • Posted an 18-13 overall singles record with 13-11 dual match record during his sophomore season.
  • Made back-to-back appearances in the fall and spring National Tennis Championships in doubles with partner Henry Craig
  • Was 21-10 overall in doubles play with a 15-7 record during the spring season in 2015
  • Upset the No. 27 duo Zvonimir Babic/Nik Scholtz from Ole Miss, 7-6, 6-4 in the 2015 Spring Individual National Championships
  • Named to the All-Summit League Team during his sophomore season
  • Went 19-15 in singles play during his freshman season
  • Posted a 9-9 singles record in dual play in his inaugural year
  • Notched a 20-11 overall doubles record in 2013-14

Before Denver:
  • Ranked No. 1 in the UK under-18 rankings at the age of 16
  • Qualified for British Tour Masters
  • Won under-18 Scottish Junior Open in both singles and doubles
  • Won under-18 Bournemouth National Open singles
  • Won Great Britain Junior Nationals doubles title once at the under-16 level and twice at the under-18 level
  • Named Hampshire County Player of the Year in 2011.
