Senior Student-Athletes Alex Gasson, Diogo Rocha and Yannik James will be Honored Prior to Saturday's Home Match vs. Omaha

The DU men’s tennis team wraps up its 2017 regular season schedule this weekend, taking on New Mexico on Friday (12pm, Lifetime Fitness Centennial) and battling Summit League rivals Omaha on Saturday (2pm, CAC-Monaco). Live scoring for both matches can be followed HERE.

Denver (10-11, 3-0 Summit) has won two of its last three matches while New Mexico (10-12) has dropped its last two decisions and Omaha (8-11, 2-1 Summit) is coming off of a 4-2 loss to Illinois State. Prior to the commencement of doubles play on Saturday, the Pios’ three graduating student-athletes – Alex Gasson, Diogo Rocha and Yannik James – will be recognized for their contribution to the DU men’s tennis program. Gasson (71-40), Rocha (85-40) and James (76-39) have all earned over 70 singles wins apiece during their careers while capturing numerous awards from the ITA and Summit League.

Following this weekend’s action the Crimson & Gold will compete in the 2017 Summit League Championships from Apr. 28-29 in Indianapolis. The NCAA Tournament then begins in mid-May.
