Women's Golf Heads to the Desert for Wildcat Invitational
Two-day event set to begin on Monday in Tucson

DENVER - The University of Denver women's golf team looks to bounce back with a trip down to Tucson, Ariz. to compete in the Arizona Wildcat Invitational on Monday. The two-day event is set to begin on Monday at the Sewailo Golf Club.
Senior Sonya Knebel will also compete, but as an individual.
The Pioneers are coming off a tough outing at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship in New Orleans on Feb. 20 where they finished 16th in the prestigious event.
Whyte and Weinstein each placed 50th in the talented field for DU. Weinstein was also named Summit League Women's Golfer of the Week for her consistent play.

Student-Athlete Alumni Giving Challenge:
In 2017-18, the University of Denver is holding an alumni giving challenge in an effort to increase student-athlete alumni participation in the Denver Athletics Annual Fund. The sport program with the highest percentage of alumni participation will receive an additional $10,000 of support through the generosity of an anonymous donor.
