No. 24 Denver Closes Out Fall with Maryb S. Kauth Invitational

DENVER – The No. 24 University of Denver women’s golf team heads off to San Antonio to close out its fall season. The Pioneers will play in the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational hosted by the University of Texas San Antonio.

The 54-hole tournament will be played at the Briggs Ranch Golf Club with round one set for Sunday.

Par for the 6,450-yard course is 72.

The field features seven teams in the top 40 of the Golfstat rankings, including No. 1 Arkansas.

Interim head coach Kolton Lapa is going with the lineup of Sophie Newlove, Lauren Whyte, Mary Weinstein, Jessica Dreesbeimdieke and Camille Enright.

DU is coming off its second straight tournament victory at the Ron Moore Women’s Intercollegiate back on Oct. 8. The Crimson and Gold took home the team title with a score of 15-under, highlighted by a program-record 16-under final-round effort.
