Pioneers Ranked No. 20 in Cascade Women's Division I Media Poll
Denver enters the rankings after starting the season 2-0

DENVER-- The University of Denver women's lacrosse team joined the rankings of the Inside Lacrosse Cascade Women's Division I Media Poll at No. 20 in the poll released Monday afternoon.
Much like the IWLCA Poll, the Pioneers went from receiving votes to ranked, receiving 31 total votes. Stony Brook remained ranked second, receiving three first-place votes and 383 points in the poll, while Florida fell to fourth with 335 points.
Pioneer opponents Virginia Tech, Colorado and Louisville were receiving votes, making five opponents on the Crimson and Gold's schedule that were either ranked or receiving votes.
Denver faces San Diego State this Friday at noon at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium before traveling to New York to play No. 2 Stony Brook on Sunday. Admission to home games are free.
