Pioneers Remain at No. 13 in Polls

IWLCA Poll | Cascade Media Poll | US LAX Magazine Rankings

DENVER - The University of Denver women’s lacrosse program remained steady in the weekly polls released on Monday, staying at No. 13 in both the IWLCA Coaches’ and Cascade Media Polls while taking a step forward in the US Lacrosse Magazine rankings to No. 15.

The Pioneers went 2-0 in the week once again, defeating Vanderbilt 17-4 on Wednesday, April 12, before punching their ticket to the BIG EAST Tournament with a 17-10 win over Villanova on Saturday, April 15.

Denver will visit Georgetown this Saturday, April 22, with opening draw set for 11 a.m. MT live on the BIG EAST Digital Network. The match will break up the second-place gridlock as DU, GU and Temple all own a 6-1 mark in the BIG EAST.
