Pioneers Head East for a Weekend of Games

Oct. 12, 2017

DENVER--  After a successful opening contest against Regis, in which the University of Denver women's lacrosse team won 19-5, the Pioneers travel to the East Coast for a weekend of games.

On Saturday, DU will be in Princeton, N.J., to play host Princeton (9 a.m. MT), Albany (noon) and Southern California (1 p.m.).  The next day, the Pioneers will face San Diego State, NCAA reigning champion Maryland and Loyola Maryland in Baltimore, at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m., respectively.

Princeton, Albany, and USC are all coming off of NCAA Tournament appearances as well.

This weekend slate will be the only road games that Denver will have during the fall schedule.

They close out fall ball with Colorado on Oct. 21 at 3:30 p.m. and the Alumnae Game on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.
