Denver Clinches Spot in Summit League Tournament

Pioneers get five goals from five different goal scorers on Senior Day

Summit League First Team (2017)...Summit League Offensive Player of the Week (8/28/17)...Summit League Freshman of the Year (2016)…Second Team All-Summit League (2016)….Summit League All-Freshman Team (2016)...Top Drawer Soccer National Team of the Week (8/29).

Played and stared in all 21 matches in Denver’s attacking midfield, seeing 1844 minutes of action for the Crimson and Gold…Recorded 22 points on nine goals and four assists…Scored game-winning goals in back-to-back matches at Omaha (10/15) and against Western Illinois (10/22)…Scored twice against Albany, while adding an assist (8/27), five of her seven points that weekend to earn National Team of the Week honors…Scored in three-straight matches from 8/25-31...NCAA RANKINGS: 148th in goals per game (0.43), 86th in goals (9), 111th in points (22).

Played in 19 matches for Denver, starting 17 of them and seeing 1655 minutes of action…Led the Pioneers in points with 12, goals with four and co-led Denver in assists with four…Netted game-winners in back-to-back Summit League matches, scoring the difference maker at IUPUI (Oct. 2) before returning home a week later to score the game-winner against South Dakota (Oct. 9)…Also scored goals in Denver’s 2-0 win over Omaha (Oct. 30) and in Denver’s 3-1 upset victory over Arizona State (Sept. 4)…Took 33 shots, putting 10 of them on target.

Before Denver:
Surpassed the 100 point mark in her high school career in 2016 as a central midfielder, helping lead Oak Park High School to over 60 wins in her high school career...Finished the 2015 season tied for the most points on her Real So Cal U-17 ECNL Team...2015 California All-Star selection...Two-time First Team All-Conference pick...Real So Cal U16/U17 back-to-back Surf Cup titles...IMG Academy 150 Player pool...2015 First Team All-CIF...3 National ECNL Playoff appearances...High School MVP and Offensive MVP.    

Born January 23, 1998 in Thousand Oaks, Calif...Daughter of Frank and Lauren...Has two brothers, Josh (attends CU) and Landon, and one sister, Tess...Chose Denver because of its outstanding academics, family-like soccer program, beautiful campus and convenient location...Following college, hopes to play professionally in Europe...Plans to study psychology, marketing and advertising...Also recruited by UCSB, Colorado and Wisconsin.
