DENVER – The University of Denver women’s soccer team has added 10 players to its 2018 roster, head coach Jeff Hooker announced on Monday.

“This class is one of the larger classes that we’ve had in a while,” Hooker said. “From a position standpoint, this class covers a wide range of options for us from a goalkeeper all the way up the formation to our attacking players. Similar to last year’s freshman class, I think we could definitely see players from this class compete for starting positions right away. They will push the rest of our players on the roster to get better in the offseason, and create healthy competition at each position when we open up camp in August.”
